Another big test for Liverpool FC

Another week and another big game for Liverpool. This time, they travel to London to take on Arsenal.

The Gunners are nowhere near the level they used to be, back in the days when the likes of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira wore the shirt. However, they will still provide a major test for Liverpool.

After starting the season with two consecutive league defeats, Arsenal have won seven and drawn one of their last eight premier league games, and are unbeaten in 13 matches in all competitions. The match also takes place at the Emirates, ensuring that the Reds will face a hostile atmosphere.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s team seems to be made of sterner stuff this season. They also appear to be more consistent and finally primed to make a genuine challenge for the league, as evidenced by being top of the table on points with Manchester City after 10 games.

The match kicks off at 5:30 pm and we’ll have the live action on our big screen. However, the West Kirby Social Club is open from midday, for those who want to watch the 12:30 pm game between AC Bournemouth and Manchester United.
